At this free, family-friendly Hour of Code event, we welcome all individuals ages 6+ to receive an introductory experience to coding and computer science in a safe, supportive environment. Youth will choose themes of Minecraft, Moana or Star Wars for their hands-on project as they watch video-based tutorials, complete coding objectives, and learn basic coding skills. No prior experience is needed but familiarity with a computer keyboard and mouse is helpful. For children ages 6-7, parents please plan to stay and assist your student during the program.
